Listening to a live album from Chuck Berry.

Good stuff to get me through the last two hours of the day.

Thank you, Duck. A great start to this sub-forum!

I have been listening to Dr. Dog's We All Belong. Very unique and timeless style. One of my favorite songs is Alaska. Go download it!

The new Drive By Truckers album. Some great tracks, some less than stellar, but overall a good one, especially compared to the mediocre junk on the last one.

Are you speaking of A Blessing and a Curse?

This is a great topic...

This morning I listened to Stevie Ray Vaughan on the way to work, and listened to a Jupiter Coyote show from 1996 (I think) at the office.

You have great taste, Georgia. Listening to Tying Things Together can be a life changing experience.

That Dr. Dog record is really good. I've been listening to it as well, along with...

Eric Hutchinson--Sounds Like This
Peter Bradley Adams (from Eastmountainsouth)--Leavetaking
Greg Laswell--Three Flights From Alto Nido
The Avett Bros.--The Second Gleam

I'm usually a music fogey, not much Rock here. But with modern times I use www.pandora.com

This is a great internet radio site that I listen to at work and at home. It builds algorhythms around your tastes. You can tune different channels to what you want to listen to.

I usually have it to 18th C. classical or American Jazz standards.

EVT,

I listen to similar music sometimes. Do you ever get the snide remarks from others? If so, what is your response?

Knuckle sandwiches all around.

I usually have a headphone in or have it low enough that no one notices.

But one time one of my co-workers was asking me about the Django Reinhardt I was listening to and I basically played it off like you don't know what you're missing...

Much more somber recording than their previous.

This morning I woke up and put on Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Songs of New Orleans.

I love this album.
