Due to fallish temps this past weekend, I took some winter stuff out of the attic.

Yestiddy:

(sorry the pics are a bit blurry....)
BB 3/2 greenish-brown h-bone sack- extra long - probably a bit too long for me, but I don't mind. Sort of casual outerwear.

BB burg. univ. stripe
Random blue paisley silk square
LE surcingle - navy
Bills M1
Byford black/gray argyles
Alden shell longwings - first wearing this fall. Felt as good as I had remembered.

Nice shirt, Jordan - is it a Press? The collar looks good on it.

Today - more fall -

LE "ivy" cord jacket. I though it was a dark green, but am realizing (after a year) that it is a dark brown. Darted and the shoulders a bit too pointed, but an okay jacket for $100 or so.

JAB blue paisley square
Bean (non-iron) tattersall oxford
LE surcingle khaki/blue stripe
Bills M1 (note my consistency!)
Gold Toe argyles
Nordstroms saddle bucks

Good day all!

I still can't forgive myself for passing these up when they were around.

I have a pair of Dexters that are a decent alternative.

Looking good as always PC.

Interesting. I've always had good experiences with J. Crew argyles. However, I only buy them when the outlet has them marked down to $4.99, less 30%-40%. Could be the price : performance ratio makes my opinion biased. I wouldn't pay anymore for JC socks than what I currently pay.

Cheers.

Huh. I bought mine at the outlet for the same $5. The tops started to shred almost immediately, and they didn't hold up well in the wash. Disclaimer: I did use the dryer on them.

I just ordered a bunch of the cotton/nylon BB OTC argyles on clearance plus FF discount ($8 or so). I'll report on them after a few washes and wears.

C'mon, gents, let's see what YOU'VE got!

Broke out some true fall stuff today, as it is rainy and cool.

LLBean hunting check flannel BD. Olive tattersall with cream and tan checks.
LE heather gray crew-neck t-shirt. very soft and confortable t-shirt. Minimal shrinkage and good length on the body.
Old LE vintage chinos (the first round of these to come out about 3-4 yrs. ago. These pants are VERY soft and comfortable. A bit more causual that I usually wear to the office, but it IS Friday!

Cole Haan made in US thick belt (my usual jeans belt).

Gold Toe black "woolies" socks. Soft and cushiony. Used with my more rugged footwear.

LLBean Dress Rustic mocs - my minor rain/slush shoes.
