Very nice, Sartre!

I like your outfit in the post above, as well as the descriptors of the outfit. As an anal retentive, I looked for a comment on the nicely matched suede shoes and belt.

I admire your restraint in the description of your outfit. Had it been my get up, I couldn't have restrained myself!

Thank you, Bill. Nice catch on the belt. I bought those shoes last spring at the Crockett & Jones shop on Jermyn Street. It was quite a cultural experience. :-) Anyway, they “upsold” me the belt but in retrospect I’m glad I got it.

Agreed Billax! What a great look along with the flannel, Sartre.

Fantastic looking tweed. Who made the glasses frames?

The frames are Ben Silver P3s, antique tortoise -- I think the maker is Pinton. They are ridiculously expensive.

My favorite frames in terms of shape are Anglo American 406s, however they do not have the colors I prefer. My favorite color is that very unique Ben Silver demi-blonde but the shape of those does not sit so well on my face. So the ones that I have now are sort of a compromise; the shape is almost the same as the Anglos and the color is as close as I can get to the Ben Silvers.

Didn't you used to wear some Pintons that were more oval, like my Lafont Jupiter frames?

Thank you for the information. My quest continues as well.
