+1. Nice jacket. Does it run large? I've found most of their items tend to run on the big side.

I bought a super thick Donegal tweed jacket, SF-era Press, back in October and forgot about it. Had the sleeves taken up a bit and voila. Maybe $65 all told.

If you're patient eBay still coughs up the good stuff, although the signal-to-noise ratio has steadily disimproved over the last few years.

On the other hand, I see a marked increase in the number of sellers who know what a sack cut is. And charge accordingly.

Damn, that's a nice jacket. I want one, too!

Patrick, I'm eager to see that Donegal sport coat in action.

I take it back. It's a Harris. Almost as thick as a Hudson Bay blanket

You can get some use out of it this week. Winter has returned.

That is a great jacket. I want one. Works really well with a navy critter tie.

As for the tie. It is by far my favorite that I own. I have two. One is getting worse for the wear where the other is in great shape ready to take over some day. I need another. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed mine.

Great stuff!

A local thrift had its annual "Spring Event." These followed me home:

L-R: Ralph Lauren Polo x3, Calvin Klein lambswool, made in Scotland (!)

L-R: Trafalgar, unbranded, Ralph Lauren Polo

Other items include a BB red uni stripe OCBD, three Lacoste polos, and one shirt each from Southern Tide and Turnbull & Asser.

Thanks, Topsider! There are a ton of them on eBay however almost all of them that I've seen have darts despite the 3/2 roll button stance.

Thanks, Reddington! This particular one has no size tag in it. The seller did list it as a 40S; if that is the true size tan I would have to say it runs small.

Thanks, OCBD! I agree, I need to find a navy critter tie (or any navy emblematic tie for that matter).

The A&S Highlander tie is one of my favorites as well. I found another one on eBay if you're interested. I'll send you a PM with the link.

All I can say is, Gamma I hope you have a lock on your closet, because I'm coming for all those shirts! Amazing!

Thanks, LeeLo and leisureclass, for your nice comments.

Those BB shirts have nice long collar points and really long tails.

When was the last time BB offered short-sleeve shirts in neck sizes rather than S,M,L, XL?
