I don't like skinny gingham shirts with spread collars combined with Pee Wee Herman jackets and designer stubble. It's a bad look and people should stop it.

There -- I said it.

What about gingham shirts (Brooks Brothers Slim Fit) with a tie and chicken curry (and soccer fans watching giant screen TV's in the background)??

Gingham shirts with button down collars... worn under 3 roll 2 jackets, seem fine to me. We few, we proud, we traditionalists, are - of course - the last line of defense against the pure evil of current fashion! In the end we will lose, but our style will be recorded and remembered as the last style of gentlemen.Within a decade after the last us pass, Merriam Webster will attach the descriptor archaic to the term gentleman.

I raise my glass to all of you!

Between the curry and the collar you're fine
