A bit tough to make out the details, but is that Cornus florida in the background, Billax?

That is something I always love to see.

It is a Cornus Florida. You're spot on, as usual, Ensiferous!

As an aging couple, we have moved, progressively, from living on three acres, to twenty acres, to two acres, to our current six tenths of an acre. We consider ourselves lucky to have eight Dogwoods on our small "old folks" plot!

The Classic Beauty and I were out and about today.... Lunch and a Duke Lacrosse game. Rain held off long enough so that I didn't have to open the Umbrella!

I've been posting Spring looks for close to a month now – starting just the day after Spring began. This may be the last of them (with one possible exception). The pictures below show elements from the following makers:
• Cotton Poplin 3/2 roll suit in Oyster from O'Connell's
• PPBD shirt from Mercer
• Lacrosse tie in Silk from Bird Dog Bay
• Allen Edmonds "Pebble grain" Broadstreet Spectators

Weather in Durham as I write this: 73.5º with overcast skies and light breezes.

We're now 20 days into Spring and it appears to be too cold for any other Curriculum member to switch to lighter weight clothing. The temperatures in North Carolina remain VERY nice, however, with not even a hint of cold weather.

As such, seeing that we're nearing a month into Spring and my locale seems to have the only pleasant, warm, weather in the Continental 49, I'll keep on tryin' to give the Curriculum members a hint of what Summer apparel looks like in North Carolina and Hawaii!
I wore a partially-lined tweed jacket and unlined chinos the other day. And cotton socks, not SmartWool. That's progress.
Patrick, you're the funniest forum poster ever. I love reading your clever analysis!
