I have a couple pairs of really sturdy moleskin pants from Lambourne via Sierra Trading Post. Lambourne seems to be defunct. Where else can they be found?

I know about Orvis.

I found these:

This is a pre-order situation, and they don't seem to offer alterations, which is a problem as the alterations lady in my area packed it in and nobody has replaced her.

This outfit looks promising, and affordable. And they'll finish the pants.

At first blush this looks the most promising

Any experience with any of these? Or any other ideas?

I bought these off ebay a couple years back, not too bad.

I have a couple decent pairs of moleskin pants by Lands' End, but it looks like they no longer offer them.

Patrick, in case you don't know, J. Peterman is having a 50% off sale through Jan. 10 with code THEBOOT

That comes out to eighty-five bucks with standard shipping. I couldn't pass that up. On-seam pockets, and they'll cuff 'em, too.

Did yours arrive yet? Mine came today. Very pleased. The color is closer to British khaki, which I like. They fit great, too. I ordered a 36 waist, even though I can wear anything from a 34 to a 36 depending on the cut. Excuse the wrinkles...they're right out of the package.

Yes they came yesterday. Very nice. They only added a buck for hemming according to invoice, which is rather sporting.

Mine are dark brown.

They will make their debut tomorrow together with a two-button sack tweed jacket I found on Etsy. Photos then.
