This is probably a long shot, but does anyone know who made sport coats for the Yale Co-op house brand in the 80s/90s? I'm stalking a herringbone sack online and was just curious.

rmp, mine do not show any manufacturer's tags, only Yale Co-Op tag and HT tag. The loop at the neck states Union made in USA.
I can imagine that the Co-Op might have had a few prime contractors for sport jackets. Mine are from before the period of the one you are considering though, and the field of manufacturers had thinned greatly by then.

In any case, it would be nice if the one you are considering has the correct details and attributes, even though you might never know who actually made it.

I pulled the trigger on it. Figured it was worth a shot since the price was so low. Mine has the same loop at the neck with the "Union Made in the USA of Imported Fabric" as yours Ensif. The seller's pictures are terrible and he listed it as a three-button. When I inquired if it was a 3/2 he didn't seem to understand. It's not darted and has all the other ivy appointments so I'm assuming it's a 3/2. We shall see! I'm been looking for a herringbone in this color and have always wanted a jacket from the Yale Co-op so I figured I'd take the risk.

^Condition looks great, and that lapel shows a really nice tendency to roll. Who cares what the precise fraction of buttoning is on the 3/2 ratio? :D

Very nice looking jacket, indeed. Very versatile. Can't wait to see it in action.
