I know that we all read the standard set of blogs, Trip, Old Man, etc. but what other blogs do you read?

Besides just a list, discuss why you like it, what you dislike, so on so forth

A friend's blog that's quite diverse in its content - hunting, food, books, some music and a little fishing. Updates have been very sporadic since he moved and took a more time consuming (i.e. not Federal) job.

I follow the war in Afghanistan almost at a religious tempo so I keep up with Michael Yon's dispatches. Interesting fellow, although I don't always agree with his opinions. He has some very strong beliefs about how he thinks military leadership should do their jobs in a war zone. He is a former Green Beret that spends most of his life embedded with one unit or another in Afghanistan.

I also like The Glengarry Sporting Club. He hasn't blogged in a while, though. This is the guy that provided our madras background. I keep urging him to join us over here,

BTSE is a good guy, and ivyinspired.tumblr posts on AAAT, as well. Both are on top of traditional american, if not trad
