Any trad sightings on Facebook?

I was a hold out, but now enjoy the site.

At least a couple of us are on Facebook (I won't say who the other person is unless they want me to). If anyone here sends me a PM with your Facebook name, I'll reply in kind. :)

It's quite confusing for me. I don't know how to use it. :(

I've drawn the line there. I don't have time to keep up with one more thing. (I don't know how to text either, and don't want to learn. Harrumph)

I taught my wife how to text. Big mistake.

I just recently joined facebook in order to catch up with my fraternity reunion trip back to campus this fall. I had always sneered at my wife for being on it. She is laughing now.

I also don't text. "Get off my lawn!"

As the proud father of a 13-year-old daughter I have no choice but to text. I'm not sure these kids even understand how to use the phone function.

It took me awhile to figure it out, but now it seems easy to me. Add info about your high school and college & you'll run into friends you haven't heard from in years.

I avoid it like the plague--I have absolutely *no* wish to join anything that could expose me to knowledge about what my students do outside of class! ;)

And the closest I get to texting is the use of the acronym "WFF"!

This commercial will give you an education in text-speak. ;)

I've been using facebook for nearly 4 years. A fraternity brother that was a few years behind me at AU moved into my house in Charleston and got me hooked right after it came out. Back then you had to have a college email address to use it.
