Let me start this thread off by listing the things that I know we need to add.

1. I am aware that there is no direct link to the user control panel/profile editor. Currently, the back door method is to click on any PM button like you were going to PM someone. You will notice an option menu to the left of the PM field. Here you can add an avatar, change your password, etc.

2. We need to add a Members button to the top menu as well as an Inbox button.

3. I would like to also add "bread crumbs". This will allow you to retrace your steps in one click instead of having go back to the main forum page when all you want to do is go from the topic you are reading back to the board in which the topic originated. Example: You are browsing Classic American Clothing and click the WAYW thread. You're finished browsing WAYW wearing and you want to check out a new post in the Recent Acquisitions thread. Currently, you have to start over by clicking the Forum button, then Classic American Dress and then Recent Acquisitions.

4. We need to add a "Recent Posts" section to the bottom of the forum like we had on the old website.

Thanks for all of your hard work so far, Jordan! Things are looking good.

Is there a "hide" feature so we can keep parts of a post visible to members only, like we had before?

I've noticed that underlined or italic text seems to shrink to a smaller font size for some reason. See my signature for an example.

Also, see here and here. Also seems to happen with bold.

I have found a mod that we can install for the hide function. Let me ask around about the shrinking text issue.

I'm also looking for an Ebay button mod to add so we can get that function back.

Keep the suggestions coming. I can't promise that I can perform on all of them, but I will certainly try!

Yeah, when people paste hyperlinks as well, it seems to shrink the text. Not a huge deal, some other people on here might not have vision as awesome as mine.

I can't seem to post an image. When I paste the link from Photobucket between the "img" tags, I get an error message: "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image."

TS, can you either PM the link to me or post it here so I can troubleshoot?

Fixed it. I tweaked some settings on the backed.

Let's try to bring the size of images down and see how that works.

Is there something we can put in the "img" tag to scale the image down? I tried "size=" and "width=" to no avail.

I shrank it to 640x480 using Photobucket's "resize" feature.

I think the above is alright, TS. Don't worry about it.

So I just noticed at the bottom of the page that we do, indeed, have bread crumbs that lead us back through where we've been on this site. I am going to try to get that duplicated and have a copy of that module placed at the top of the site.

What are those little blank buttons with the blue question marks that appear beneath our names?

That is the rank image slot. I will be uploading rank images so we will no longer see the question marks.

Any suggestions for a them for those rank images? I was thinking regimental tie samples, but I would hate to get defenestrated by a member of the British armed forces for such an act.

Just make sure the stripes descend from right to left. ;)
