I've only just noticed that usernames are not linked to profile pages. Is that also on the to-do list, or is this by design?
TA, to navigate to a person's profile page, just scroll down below one of their posts and you will notice a Profile button.

It's not showing up for me in FF or IE.

Here's a cap:

Weird. The buttons that do show up look kinda strange, too.

I just checked it out with Firefox on the Mac (I usually use Safari), and it looks fine.

Screenshot w/FF on Mac OS X:

Win 7 64-bit, and current versions of FF and IE. There should be no issues with those.

I see the repeated button graphics (I expect those kinks to be worked out), but at least one of each corresponds to actual functions. The lack of any profile link is a little more inconvenient, though, whether repeated or not.

I hope all the board testing wasn't done on a Mac alone. :)

EDIT: Uh-oh...it may be so. I just tried Safari on WIn 7, and the board looks right. That's not the case with FF and IE.

Can anyone with FF and IE check and see if you see any of the same issues?

I edited too soon. Oddities persist.

This is Safari after logging in:

Notice how it looks the same. Before I logged in, I saw the profile button Topsider capped in Safari, but once in, it all looks the same in all browsers.

I'm not sure if that's the OS, Java, or board coding to blame.

TA, I'm sorry you're having so many issues with the website.

I am running the latest version of FF and I can see the buttons. They also show up for me on Safari Version 3.1.2. I will check IE as soon as I log in to the PC partition of my hard drive.

Hmm...I don't see how, but could it be a 64-bit vs. 32-bit issue? If someone else with Win 7 64-bit isn't experiencing what I am, then it must be a curse. I'm now logged in and posting from Chrome, and it's still the same.

What do we think of the new background?

EDIT: You may not see the background until you do a hard refresh on your browser... CTRL > Refresh or F5

Just cleared my cache and see it now. I wish it extended further on my wide screen, but I love it. :)

We were going back and forth about whether to include the side gradient or not. Do you think it would look better without it?
