Another option is striped grosgrain patterns.

Those look kinda like military ribbons. I like the tie idea better, but if it's too hard or doesn't look right, grosgrain would probably be fine.

Thanks Speas.

Profile > Edit Account Settings ...then you'll see the new password field.

Lots of updates were done last night!

We've added a few buttons to the main navigation bar: Members and Inbox. There is now a "profile" button on the top right corner by login/logout. Also, we've added breadcrumbs to the top of the page for easier navigation!

That is the rank image slot. I will be uploading rank images so we will no longer see the question marks.

Any suggestions for a them for those rank images? I was thinking regimental tie samples, but I would hate to get defenestrated by a member of the British armed forces for such an act.
I dig the tie icons. Looks good to me.

I may be changing the large icons to the right of each subforum and topice from the the dots within the circles to the original PHPBB icons. Let me know what you all think.

4. We need to add a "Recent Posts" section to the bottom of the forum like we had on the old website.
I'm not sure you meant this, but, either way, I don't see a recent posts link on the index page anymore. If that's not by design, this should work until it's written back in:

search.php?search_id=newposts

Good find! I'm trying to think of a way to incorporate it on the forum index page. Suggestions are welcome.

May be as a "Newest posts" button next to the "search" box?

If I had my druthers, I'd place it where "mark read" is currently located. I also think putting "mark read" down near "delete board cookies" would be wise for an additional reason as well: Preventing an accidental click.

Just my 2¢.

I've only just noticed that usernames are not linked to profile pages. Is that also on the to-do list, or is this by design?
