Hey guys. We have always had a feature on our forum that allows you to upload an image from your device, be it a mobile phone or personal computer. I do discourage the use of this feature in conjunction with your computer as you can easily upload your photos to or the like. If we all uploaded our photos to The Curriculum's server, we would surely experience some storage space issues.

I do, however, think that this feature would be a great tool for those of you that take your WAYW photos with you mobile phone. I have recently expanded the permitted image size to allow this and I need people to help me test the function on their iPhones and Blackberries.

Let me explain how it's done:

When you click "reply" or "new thread" you are taken to the text field where you type whatever your post will be. If you look below this text field you will see two addition fields. One reads, "Select Image file to attach" and the other reads, "Select file to attach". To those that want to help us test this function, snap a picture on your mobile phone and go through the first step mentioned above by clicking "reply" to this thread: ... 4670#14670

Then click the "Browse..." button next to the "Select Image file to attach" field and find the image on your device that you would like to post to the forum. Using my HTC Evo 4G on a 3G connection it took a minute or two to upload, but I think it's a small price to pay when you have the option to snap your WAYW picture and post immediately to the site straight from your mobile device!

If you have any questions, post here and we'll get it figured out. Thanks for the help!

Will give it a shot tomorrow with a WAYWT. Thanks for letting us know about the feature; it should be convenient
