I noticed that pictures were popping up everywhere. This could be a great thread where we post pictures and talk about our trips.

We have a river house on the Rappahannock River at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay. We spend most of our weekends there fishing and watching the dogs swim. Not sure what Kalie is looking at.

A friend of mine went off to get his second masters in Arizona last year.

He realized that there are very few times in one's life when he can take a road trip across the country -- so did I.

I flew into Kansas City to meet him and from there the journey began. To avoid typing a 1000 word post, we ended up in Seattle 10 days later hitting the Badlands, Mt Rushmore, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, and Whitefish, MT along the way.

Here are a few photos.

I have many more if there is interest. I really should have made separate thread.

Here's where I was this past weekend:

I was a guest of the United States Navy on board the USS Eisenhower. Landed on the deck and got launched off the next day.

I took a short vacation to Blue Ridge, Georgia this weekend. I snapped this off the front porch.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Spending three of the next five weeks in Guadalajara not including the trip last week. I'll snap more pics next trip. In the meantime, I can't wait for the next Paloma or banderita. Sad to say that the AmJack look is alive and prevalent south of the border...

Mrs. Georgia & I went to Paris for a week earlier this year. I can't say it was first on my list of places to visit, but we had a boatload of Marriott points & Delta Skymiles, so we took advantage of a deal from one of their monthly newsletters.

Anyway - it was a great trip.
