Post subject:  Italian Trad?

Spent a couple of weeks' holiday with the family in Italy. I'll try and post some pictures, but given the sartorial inclinations of the forum I will start with this gent whom I snapped surreptitiously in a cafe.

What do you think? Argyle socks, Top-siders, and aviator sunglasses, yet something's missing...

Have you seen that TV commercial with the punch line "Those short pants are more appropriate for a younger person, don't you think?"

This is the guy who inspired that.
